A MAGICAL MONTH!!

AUGUST IS HERE!!!

A VERY BUSY AND VERY MAGICAL MONTH!

JD's World of Magic is pumped for a very busy month!

During August, Joel will be visiting Primary Schools literally all over NSW. He will be using his performance skills and creativity to assist schools with their "Book Week" celebrations. 

While technically "Book Week" dates are 19th - 25th August, for Joel the celebration of literacy goes on for the entire month with some school using his services in the lead up and others as a follow up.

Also this month, is the first ever Lake Macquarie "Just 4 Kids" weekend. Its is only a few weekends away - 19th and 20th August!!

HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY!!

Not all 18th Birthday parties are rowdy - some are elegant celebrations.  I did just such an event this evening at an all adult 18th Birthday function at Noah's On The Beach Newcastle.

My sleight of hand magic with playing cards, ropes, balls, and coins was very well received and I also had the special privilege of facilitating the speeches.

SOMETHING FOR THE KIDS!

 

I'M NOT EVEN OLD!?

On Saturday night I did a very special 21st Birthday party for a family who have booked my services multiple times before! 

While I was setting up for the show, the birthday boy's Mum came over to me and reminded me that I had performed at his FIRST Birthday Party! She remembered details of the show from 20 years ago and also remembered my Dad driving me to the gig because I wasn't old enough to have a licence!!

The performance that night (for an entire adult audience) was very well received and ended with a standing ovation. 

I felt it was a special privilege to be sharing my magic with folks who have been supporting my efforts for such a long time.
