I have had a few cancellations today for events in the Newcastle CBD over the next few days. Companies who are not wanting to take any COVID risks have had to cancel their corporate Christmas parties to keep their teams / staff safe. I’m SOOOOOOOOOO thrilled to announce that I’m going to be back in my natural habitat very soon!

I will be presenting a series of family friendly one man shows during the Christmas Holidays.

These theatrical productions will include BRAND NEW sleight of hand sequences, audience participation segments, exciting visual magic and unique effects that I have been preparing and perfecting during the COVID lock down.

I enjoyed being on the program of Australia's biggest virtual gala magic show "The Magic of OZ" this evening. It was an amazing line up of some of the countries top magicians with each performer offering their own unique flair to the event!

TODAY I APPEARED IN LONDON, SYDNEY AND ALL OVER THE USA AT THE SAME TIME!?

12 months ago, I never imagined that I would be appearing “Virtually” in a live streaming International Magic Spectacular alongside some of the best in our industry!

THE EXCLUSIVE SHOW

My thanks and appreciation to the locals who decided that "the show must go on" these holidays!

Eight mask wearing spectators at a time, gathered at Central Leagues Club to enjoy a Magical Parlor Performance . This was very well received!

I will be repeating the shows on Thursday 8th and Friday 9th July.

At this point in time, there are still some seats available for Friday 9th July at 2:30 pm and 4 pm - Please message (or text / 0435161224) me ASAP if you wish to claim these!

ADAPTING MY PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE!

I have been corresponding with the CEO at Central Charlestown Leagues Club over the last few days on possible ways to hold family shows at the club during these School Holidays in a way that is safe for the participants and does not breach any of the current restrictions.

I can confirm that I will be presenting some very exclusive shows in the club meeting room. Due to the size of the room and social distancing requirements, we can only fit 8 people per session - with this in mind, PM or email (jdandfriends@dodo.com.au) ASAP if you wish to claim a spot!

Despite the very small number of spectators at each performance, I promise to enthusiastically deliver an energetic world class show complete with live animals, award winning sleight of hand and more fun than you could wave a wand at!

The cost to attend is only $20 per person - adults at children's prices!

* Masks must be worn at all times during the performance by both adults and children.

A GREAT FEELING:

I really enjoyed performing to a 'standing room only' Theatre audience yesterday afternoon. Thanks to all who came to see the the show.

I'm now making preparations to head North for a series of performances next week. It feels great to be back on the circuit and I am finding audiences to be really appreciative of live entertainment!

Its very exciting that COVID 19 restrictions have lifted and events such as these can take place. Keep your eye on this page as I hope to announce similar family friendly Variety Shows in the near future.
